You can either use a plastisol ink that is already made to be glittery or you can choose to add glitter to any color plastisol ink that you would like. The second way we can do glitter screen printing shirts is with water base acrylic screen printing. With this type of screen printing you would mix your own glittery colors. You can transform any color you want to be glittery. With glitter screen printing with water base acrylic inks you will find that the printing is actually much lighter than the plastisol glitter screen printing. Now to make your decision on which route to go you will want to know the minimums for each type of printing and probably the pricing will be a very big deciding factor as well.

Screen printing comes in all different varieties and different styles. There is the standard screen printing that is on the front or backs of garments, all the way up to oversized screen printing. Those styles might be great for you but there is a whole other world of printing that is quite fun to look at.  Today I’m writing about Glitter Screen Printing.

Besides the standard flat ink colors that we offer, there is also some pretty cool glitter inks that we can add to any garment to give it that extra pop you may want. Our glitter screen printing is done just like our normal printing, but uses different ink. The glitter actually has metal flecks in it so that when it hits the lights it has a nice bright reflection, just like the glitter you use for crafts. Now, we don’t have every color of glitter inks, but we do have a clear glitter. With clear glitter we can print a flat standard ink color then put the clear glitter on top. This will make the standard color that you chose have some sparkle.

Glitter screen printing is great for cheerleading teams, dance teams, or weddings. It is also fun for parties or to have a birthday shirt made.
