Heat Press Custom Transfers

Are you looking to do a print with a lot of different colors? Or maybe you are looking to do a print with very fine detail? Heat press custom transfers are the way you will want to go. These custom transfers are done by screen printing your logo onto a piece of paper. This is better than screen printing directly onto the garment because when screen printing onto the garment the garment actually absorbs a lot of the ink not letting a lot of detail through. You will also love heat press custom transfers when you have a lot of colors because the print will not be super thick and it will have a softer hand.

Heat Press T Shirts

There are many different ways you can get t shirts decorated. There is screen printing, sublimation, embroidery and heat press. Any of these options of decoration, will result in great quality prints. There are many t shirt printing companies around that will do your projects, but there is one that can do everything under one roof.  Heat Press T Shirts are a great way to launch your brand and get moving quickly.

AMBRO Manufacturing has been in business for over 30 years. We can do a lot of the technique as mentioned above. Heat press t shirts are very popular, especially if you are looking to have them personalized with a name or if you are on a sports team. When using this technique to print, we use a vinyl material which comes in a variety of colors. We can print your logo in vinyl if it is not more than two colors. To have your name on the back, we would just need the spelling and will take care of the rest.

For sports teams, we have a lot of different size numbers that we can heat apply to the back of the shirts in either one or two different colors. We also have some specialty vinyl which includes, silver and gold glitter as well as reflective vinyl. The process of heat press works by cutting the material with your logo or name in whatever color you choose, then placing it on the shirt and letting the press heat it until it is adhered to the fabric.

You can give us a call any time at (908) 806 8337 or you can email us and we will have one of our sales representatives get back to you with anything you need to know about heat press t shirts. We are located in Flemington, New Jersey and can ship out to anywhere in the country. We have a show room that you can take a look at our vinyl jobs that we have done to get more of a feel of how it would look.

Transfer Printing

Do you know what transfer printing is?  You may have heard of screen printing already and if you have, then you know a little bit about transfer printing!  If you don’t know about screen printing, let me tell you all about it and why you might want to try custom transfer printing!  Screen printing is a quick, simple, and affordable way to make custom clothing for numerous purposes.  Essentially it works by taking your artwork and separating into layers that contain only one color in the design.  Each layer gets burned into a screen which will later be used to apply the colored inks to the garments.  But how does it all relate to using custom transfers?

Transfer Printing

Transfer printing is a type of printing where the prints don’t get applied directly to the garment, but instead get applied to heat transfer sheets.  Why choose this option?  Well, once your custom printed transfers are in your possession, you have the power to determine how they get used!  The custom garment industry is full of variables and options, so each person may require a different set of tools to reach their goals.  For some custom designers, this type of printing is a major tool in their arsenal that lets them control the “when”, “where” and “how” aspects of their printing.  Do you need a few different garments with the same print on the fly?  If you have a stock of your custom designs on transfers you can easily just heat press them and have completed custom garments in an instant!

Are the seasons changing, but your design is “all-year long”?  With custom transfers you can keep the same design but switch garments with the seasons!  If you are interested in transfer printing, you can come to AMBRO Manufacturing to get all that and more!  You can contact us to place an order or to find out more about our company, by email or by giving us a call at (908) 806-8337.

Heat Transfer Printing

Heat Transfer Printing can be for many different printing techniques. You can use heat transfer printing for sublimation. You can also use heat transfer printing for AFM and vinyl. Heat transfer printing really applies to anything that you will be using heat to transfer an image to a textile.

Heat Transfer Printing

Like with sublimation you use heat to transfer inks that are printed onto heat transfer paper to transfer the ink from the paper to the shirts or pants or socks or whatever it is you choose to sublimate. When using heat transfer printing for sublimation, the heat actually causes the inks to transform from a solid into a gaseous vapor that infuses into the textiles. That is how heat transfer printing is used for sublimation.

Now when you use the heat transfer printing process for AFM or vinyl it is different because the vinyl and AFM are not inks they are actually like big stickers. For AFM an image is printed onto a big white piece of sticker and then cut out. Once you have the image all peeled and ready to go you then want to do the heat printing by placing the logo onto the textile of your choice and applying the heat which in turn makes the image stick to the textile. It is pretty much the same process for vinyl except you can only do one color with vinyl. You would cut your image out of a piece of vinyl that already has a color to it and then peel away the excess that you do not need for your image and then start the heat transfer process.

In addition to this type of print, heat printing also includes foil stamping and embossing which involve the creation of custom dies and specialty textile foils.  You have likely seen this type of print when you receive your credit card bill at your favorite restaurant.  The leather portfolios with the restaurant logo on the front in gold or silver are done via the foil stamping and/or embossing process.  While debossing is similar, it technically does not involve a print, and is more so a heat stamp.

Some may argue that sublimation printing would also fit in this category of fabric decoration, and it may, I would argue however that sublimation is in itself a process.
