Foil Screen Printing

Foil screen printing is a great way to get that mirror finish that you want for any textile printing application. Foil can be silver, gold or any number of colors or special effects!

Keep in mind that if you are embarking on a foil printing project, that you don’t have to settle for the entire design being foil. You can request a mixed media option. Mixed media is a combination of other decoration methods and foil decoration.

For example, if you had a design that was an apple and some text, you could easily request that the text be offered as standard screen printing and have the apple be the only element that uses foil.

There are some nuances to combining foil printing and traditional printing, but that is something that you can work through with your screen print provider.

When screen printing with foil, a light adhesive “glue” is layed down in the shape of the foil design. After that glue is dried, a very thin textile foil is adhered to the glue using industrial heat and pressure.

The final outcome of a foil print is a permanent and light weight foil material adhered to the fabric. Special care should be taken when washing the garment to ensure the longest life of the foil product.

You can also mix foil with other special effect inks like glow, puff and suede to offer a truly unique look.

Today’s foil selection is amazing. Gone are the days where you had to settle for just silver or gold.  Now there are patterns, various colors and many special effects that are offered in screen printing foils.

Custom Promotional Bandanas

One of the hottest selling items of late are Custom Promotional Bandanas.  What’s great about bandanas are that they are one size fits all and they are reasonably priced for give-aways and marketing promotions.

If you are looking for awesome merch or promotional give-aways, then custom bandanas are the way to go.  Custom bandanas are easy to order. Most of the decorations are between 1 and 3 colors. Standard bandanas are 100% cotton, 22″ x 22″ in size and 68/80 weaving.

Our bandanas are screen printed using discharge inks. You have two options.  The first option is discharge printing without pigment, the second is discharge printing with pigment. The difference is subtle. Without pigment, the final result is the natural color of cotton showing as the design. With pigment you can add any color to the design up to 3 colors.

Keep in mind that if you want white whites, we have to add white pigment and that will give a slight feel to traditional low hand discharge prints.  Any pigment that is added will add a slight hand to the final product.

AMBRO Manufacturing is a Custom Bandana Printer located in Flemington, New Jersey. We manufacture 22″ x 22″, 100% cotton bandanas, right here in the USA. Our bandanas are soft, square and can be decorated in up to 6 colors.

If you are interested in custom bandana merch or bandanas with your logo and design, we can help. We offer edge-to-edge bandana printing in up to 4 colors. We currently offer 17 different base color bandanas.

Each bandana is made with soft and durable cotton and has a merrowed edge. The majority of our custom bandanas are made using 1 or 2 colors of design print, but we can print up to 6 colors if you would like.

BandanasOnline.com is our bandana division. Though this division we manufacture bandanas from high quality cotton fabric. Each bandana measures 22″ x 22″ and we offer up to 6 colors of print.

Custom Discharge Printer

For those who aren’t very familiar with working with a custom discharge printer, the idea of discharge printing is actually quite simple.  For most screen printing you essentially create silk screen stencils to apply inks to a garment which results in a custom print.  If you want to print a light color on a dark garment, you’ll need to create a white ink layer underneath to help make the colored ink on top vivid and prevents the color from shifting.  The added layer of ink can make the print feel extra thick, especially when using plastisol inks.  Discharge printing is formulated differently so that you won’t need to add extra layers of ink and you can still get soft, vibrant printing.
